Frequently asked questions

The frequently asked questions (FAQ's) rely on the Windows Explorer format to display information.

FAQ's are questions submitted by DT Max users to our support team when experiencing difficulties using the software.

• Some FAQ's are written specifically to address potential or actual problems within the program. These particular FAQ's, called the Known issues, typically describe the nature of the problem and the circumstances in which it arises, and also provide a solution whenever possible.

  To view the latest known issues in DT Max, click here or select Known issues in the left-hand side frame, under the header Frequently asked questions.

• The other FAQ's are of a more permanent nature. They explain, for instance, how to enter certain data, how to use a new program feature, etc. These are available on the left as well, under Frequently asked questions, in the following categories:

  Installation and setup
  DT Max features
  T1 tax calculations
  T2 tax calculations
  T3 tax calculations
  Electronic transmissions
  Printing
  Other
  

The left-hand side frame enables you to navigate easily among the FAQ's. Each book icon represents an expandable category. Double-click a book icon or click the "+" symbol to reveal sub-books representing topics within that particular category. These topics contain links to all related documents available and are identified by the icon .

To conceal the list of items under a given category or topic, click the "-" symbol.
